My name is Daniel Vollaro. I am a writer and a college professor who lives and works in the Atlanta Metro area. I am fascinated by new technology, but lately, I see a new high-tech dystopia taking shape all around me. Some of us want a slower world not a faster one. Technology that doesn't cross the "creepy line," or even come near it. Technology that enhances our humanity rather than alienating us. I want to reclaim my mind from the advertisers, dopamine hackers, and billionaire blowhards who are re-engineering our society. I want a tech revolution that isn't trying to strip-mine me like a mountaintop in Kentucky.
